What do the inputs mean?
Base servings is the number of servings the original recipe quantity is written for. Target servings is the number of servings you want to prepare. Quantity is the original ingredient amount. Its unit is unchanged by scaling. Scaled quantity is the ingredient amount after applying the ratio of target servings to base servings. Base servings must be greater than zero. Target servings must be greater than zero. Quantity must be zero or greater.
