What is a QR code?
A QR code is a square barcode that stores text so a camera or scanner can read it. This tool encodes the text you enter into that pattern.
What can I put in a QR code?
Any plain text, including a URL, note, email address, or phone number. The QR code stores exactly what you type. It does not add https:// or rewrite a URL.
What does error correction mean?
Error correction is extra data stored in the QR code so it can still be scanned if part of the image is dirty, damaged, or covered. Higher levels survive more damage and make a denser pattern.
Which error-correction level should I use?
Medium is a practical default for most links and notes. Use High when the printed code may be worn or partly blocked. Use Low only when you need the smallest pattern for a short payload.
What QR image size should I choose?
512 px is a practical default for screens and most downloads. Choose 256 px for a compact image, or 1024 px when you need a larger print.
Does IngoHub store my QR content?
No. QR codes are generated locally in your browser. The content is not uploaded or stored by IngoHub.
Can I download the QR code?
Yes. Download PNG saves the generated image as qr-code.png.
Can I copy the QR code as an image?
Yes, when your browser supports copying images to the clipboard. Copy image copies the generated PNG, not the text you typed. If image copying is unavailable, the button stays disabled.
Can I add a logo or custom colors?
Not in this version.
