What image metadata can this tool show?
It can show the file name, format, MIME type, size, dimensions, megapixels, and aspect ratio, plus common camera EXIF fields when they are present, including GPS coordinates.
What is EXIF metadata?
EXIF is extra information some cameras and phones store inside an image file, such as camera model, date taken, and lens settings.
Which image formats are supported?
JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF. The file is identified by its contents, not only by its name.
Can images contain GPS location data?
Yes. Some phones and cameras embed latitude and longitude in the file. This tool shows those values when they are present. They stay in your browser.
Does IngoHub upload my image?
No. Image inspection happens locally in the browser. The image is not uploaded to IngoHub.
Why does an image have no EXIF metadata?
Many editors, social apps, and screenshots strip or never write EXIF. That absence is normal and is not an error.
Can this tool remove metadata?
Not in this version.
Why can image orientation affect width and height?
Some JPEGs store a rotation tag. The displayed width and height follow that orientation so they match how the photo is meant to be viewed.
Can I inspect HEIC or RAW photos?
Not in this version. This tool supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF.
