How do I calculate a percentage change?

Why is +25% not the reverse of −20%?
Percentage change always uses the From value as the baseline. A move from 100 to 125 is a 25% increase. Swapping those amounts uses 125 as the baseline, which is a 20% decrease.
What happens if From is zero?
Percentage change is undefined when From is zero, because there is no baseline to measure against.
Can the values be negative?
Yes. From and To can be negative numbers. The calculator still uses the existing percentage-change formula.
How precise are the results?
